VIDEO: Getting Experimental with a Helper Arm

We're not quite 48 hours reunited with Jordan's helper arm, but it's so fun to see her starting to be more experimental with it. This morning, she put it on before eating breakfast and I walked in as she was trying to hold her spoon with her helper hand. She was pretty proud of that move. So why not push it further? She started trying to figure out how she can actually eat the food with her helper arm.Let's review this arm. It has an elbow that bends and a "hand" that opens and closes but the elbow has no rotation and the hand can be rotated manually. There are some serious limitations here. But that's okay. Jordan decided to give a try anyway. I caught her moment of success with a little bit of video:

She's having fun. We're having fun. If only we could get her to eat her breakfast a little faster, our mornings would be perfect!
