She's getting big

I know I write this often. I am swamped at work. I'm keeping up with the kids' worlds but I haven't had as much time to post blogs. I'm actually handing over the reigns on Jordan's brother's blog to Cameron and let him blog on his own. (With my helpful edits.)But today I felt like I missed a little piece of development... She's growing up so fast right in front of me.The ice and snow melted and it was warm enough for the kids to play outside nonstop. My in-laws are here having fun with the kids during an extended weekend and I went out of town for a day to visit with my uncle who moved to a nearby state. Today, while I was working on work stuff, Jordan asked to put on her bike arm. She and her Poppy were going out to bike. Just minutes later she came back to tell me her bike arm was too short.Too short?Well, apparently her arms have grown! Her full arm is now long enough that her old arm is too short to use for riding bikes. Mr. David refaced it last summer so Jordan could enjoy it as her official bike arm - it was short for every task except biking. Her activity arm (which she can use in the pool, soccer field, playground... so many other things) is now also her bike arm.I'll miss little bike arm... It's treated us well for two and a half years. (Which is an impressive run for any child's prosthetic.) Thankfully, all of the hand attachment work with Jordan's current activity arm... so this helper arm will go in a drawer until we have more prosthetic pieces to donate for children in need.Later in the day, Jordan decided to try out a new baseball bat I bought last month (of course it's pink). I'm signing her up for her first year of t-ball. Of course, she was wearing sparkle shoes and a dress in the mud. But she didn't seem to mind. Heck, even her brother let her borrow his baseball helmet.By the way... This is the 900th post on this blog. How did that happen? 900 posts in almost 6 years is pretty awesome. (I started blogging about four or five weeks into my pregnancy with Jordan.)
