Sharing a Design Story with #AIGAdesign

This morning, Jordan has a chance to tell her story of creating Project Unicorn and learning how design can enhance her life and the lives of many other kids. She and I are attending the national AIGA Design Conference in Minneapolis. She is giving a presentation during a symposium called The Impact of Inclusion. Jordan is speaking with a really amazing group of people. We had a chance to attend parts of the conference and see a few parts of Minneapolis. This is the first time she's ever visited. The last time I was in this city, I was in college. It's been a while. It is really exciting to share our vision of bringing more kids with disabilities into the world of design... To a room full of designers. This is a different industry than the ones I work in, so it's really cool to meet new people and learn. I'm super proud of Jordan for being brave meeting and speaking to so many new people and finding ways to have fun at the same time.
