Pretty awesome ride for the Born Just Right Chicago adventure

This year's prosthetic trip to Chicago is a little different than our trips in the past. It's an extended stay because I am speaking at a big conference next week in Chicago. Since I knew it was coming up, I scheduled building Jordan's helper arm for the week before so I didn't have to travel to the city twice in a short period of time. So, I reached out to a contact at General Motors and asked if there was any chance the company could pitch in and help with transportation.Since we planned to drive into the city to build Jordan's next helper arm AND hold an epic Born Just Right meetup, I thought it would be cool to have transportation for any attendees who don't have access to a car when we move from Navy Pier to Millennium Park.So General Motors was kind to loan a 2014 Acadia Denali to the house before Jordan and I headed out to the Chicago area. Even Cameron got to pose with it. (He's pretty bummed to miss out on the trip - but he's headed to Aerospace Camp next week!)We tried out all of the features of the car - from the navigation tool to the setting that cools the leather seats in the front. (Pretty awesome on a hot day.) Jordan and I are looking forward to taking it on a number of adventures this week. But first, we have work to do. I have a work day from where we're staying and then it's time to start working on Jordan's new helper arm!
