Little Moments Missed
I'm away again for work this week, and I had to leave the kids before our season's first snow. We are incredibly lucky to have neighbors who were willing to juggle our kids with theirs while Randy and I were out of town. (I was leaving and Randy was working his way home after a work trip.) So with both parents gone, we missed the simple fun of playing in the snow. Luckily, we have good friends and I got to see pictures. Sure, it wasn't that much snow... But these little moments are what make it hard to travel from time to time.I feel incredibly fortunate to have a job that I really enjoy and gives me opportunities to travel. I hope my kids learn that having a job is something you need to have to keep the family fed and under a roof, but it also offers the potential of new adventures and constant learning. I am lucky to say I have that. So when I miss the little moments, I know it's providing for us to have even more moments together during family trips or the many different activities the kids participate in.So, I'm going to let go of the tiny bit of mommy-guilt that came with missing that snow and instead celebrate the many things we get to do because I work out of town at times._________________By the way, even though I'm out of town doesn't mean we stopped our full court push to raise more money for Camp No Limits! Since we have a local organization that covers our camp fees, please consider donating in honor of Jordan's birthday at the end of the month. We are getting closer to sending a third child to camp!
