Let's give it a try

Jordan is so five. She knows what she wants. She and I have very long conversations with meaning. She loves to draw and is a little obsessed with using scissors.Today we discovered her new Rapunzel doll is missing a chunk of hair. I banned her from scissors without exclusive parent oversight. That's when she told me what was going on in her head: She was checking to see if the doll's hair would turn brown like it does in the movie. She doesn't miss a detail when she watches a movie. Poor Rapunzel doll. But hey, she gave it a try. She had to know if it would work.So that's why I'm checking with you, the reader. I figured it would be worth the try to help fulfill one of Jordan's little five year old requests. She wants her picture on TV. Clearly we've watched too much kid TV lately. She's seen other kids get onto TV and she wants to do it too. So I posted one of my favorite pictures of her on a Disney Family website contest. Three boys and three girls with the top votes get to have their pictures on Disney Junior when the channel starts next month. So, Jordan asked and I figured I'd try. There are kids with hundreds of votes. You can vote every 24 hours and there are clearly kids with many, many people who are voting every 24 hours. But, would you be willing to give it a try? If I don't try, I won't know if it could work.Check out Jordan's voting page. It requires you to sign up, so it's a minute lost. But please, consider it! It's worth the try for Miss Jordan! Thanks!
