Jordan's Camp No Limits Birthday Celebration

As we jump into the holiday season feet first, it's also ONE MONTH before Jordan turns eight years old. This year is the third year Jordan has decided she wants to celebrate her birthday by raising money for Camp No Limits. Last year, we were much further ahead in our fundraising. This year, we're very close to raising enough money to send a second child to camp. But Jordan is hoping to send at least six kids. (Last year you helped send eight kids to camp! You are awesome.)We have talked time and time again about how Camp No Limits is a life changing experience. Next week, Jordan plans to share a few stories about camp and why it's so special for her. Cameron also plans to share a few of his stories about why it's special for siblings to attend.Jordan's new way to show off her love of camp is by running in 5K races to prove she'll work hard for kids. And amazingly, she did it again yesterday in the 20-degree cold on Thanksgiving. For the next month, we plan to share stories of camp and encourage you to help before Jordan's 8th birthday on December 29th. Here are some of the perks of donating: You can use the record of your donation toward your 2013 taxes and you will know a child will have an amazing chance to learn life skills and meet mentors who could help turn around their perspective on life and health. Even Jordan is giving... She's donating three months of allowance to camp. Please consider pitching in as we try to send at least six kids to camp! Even more amazing? Let's send eight kids!(By the way, a county program pays for Jordan and I to attend camp each year... The money we raise goes to other children. We feel very blessed to be connected to Boone County Family Resources.)
