I haven't even had a chance to go through all of the pictures I took from our long wedding weekend in North Carolina... First we have to prepare for first grade! Jordan's first day is tomorrow. We had a chance to meet her new teacher: The same woman who taught her brother four years ago! How cool is that? First grade was one of my favorite years in elementary school. I'll never forget Mrs. Smith. Hopefully Jordan will have as good an experience with her new teacher.After talking to her new teacher, we decided to go a similar route to how we started Kindergarten, with a short book about Jordan and a chance for her to hand around her helper arms to her classmates. Her teacher can put the book up on the smart board so everyone can easily see the pictures. Since that should be a fun thing to share, I updated Jordan's book for first grade:
