Finding Nemo means a lot to Jordan (and me)

You may have noticed we are incredibly busy. Every time a new semester kicks up, I jump in deep as a professor and a newsroom manager and watch as my wonderful Born Just Right family gets fewer stories and photos of our crazy, busy life. I'm sorry my posts have been spaced out more than usual. But the return of Finding Nemo is too important and I feel the need to talk about it one more time before our big Camp No Limits fundraiser in my town. From the moment Jordan was born, I've used Nemo's lucky fin as a way to explain Jordan's little arm. I'm thrilled it will be easy again if parents of younger kids take the time to bring their kids to the theater. This is the first time it's returned to the big screen since its first release in 2003.Jordan (and the rest of the family) feel very attached to Nemo. The last time we visited Disney, we made sure Jordan had a chance to take a picture with Nemo outside the Seas with Nemo & Friends ride at Epcot. We even found a Christmas tree with Nemo movie characters. When I told Jordan about the re-release, she immediately asked if we could make it into a party... and we agreed it should be a part in honor of Camp No Limits. That's why Born Just Right is partnered with my new effort called Special Need Tech to hold a Finding Nemo fundraising meetup on Friday. I'm inviting anyone who wants to see the movie (in Columbia, MO) to join us for some fun, a silent auction on a few items and a cool toy that's up for a raffle. The theater is even offering concession discounts for members of our party. (It's the little things, right?)If you can't attend, please consider donating to our ongoing fundraising webpage for camp. I'm really looking forward to the fun and having a chance to see the movie again!So... in honor of the new movie, please enjoy these coloring book pages. I plan to print out a bunch for kids to color on during our party on Friday. Also, consider leaving a comment on my post about a Hallmark Disney on Ice giveaway!
