Mission Accomplished

I did it! I ran my first race and the kids even joined me in the fun. I'm pretty excited and proud that I was able to go from a non-runner at the start of a year to a person who could run a 5K in less than 11 minutes a mile (I finished the race in 32:30).  I was lucky Randy brought the kids to watch - even though it was cold morning. I'm still riding a bit of a pride high from pulling it off. I promise to chill out on the rants about runs and races now that I've done my first. I'm pretty sure it won't be my last.
