Workshops
Design With Us is founded on the belief that disabled youth have an incredible opportunity to use their lived experiences to create helpful and fun things. Our workshops offer skills around brainstorming, prototyping and communicating ideas to others. Our in-person workshops are currently slow to return until the pandemic is less dangerous. We are expanding our virtual workshops to teachers and school districts.

BOOST Workshop Goes Virtual
We're so excited to bring this new workshop to young people in 4th through 8th grade. It's designed for students of all abilities - disabled or non-disabled. We are also offering this workshop to classrooms to mix in-person activities with video tutorials.

Listen to Disabled Voices
As the parent of a child with a physical disability, I have grown in my understanding and knowledge of the disability community through the years. If you dig into the beginnings of this blog, you'll see I used the words "special needs" and "different" a lot. I use the word "disability" now.

Answers to Your Scholastic Learn At Home Questions
Our organization and Jordan's work were featured in two different lessons on Scholastic's Learn At Home course work for Grades 3-5 and Grades 6+. The resource continues to be available in a paid format today.
